Stroke causes,symptoms and possible treatments


Stroke:


A stroke is a medical emergency and a brain attack. A stroke is a sudden interruption in the blood supply of the  brain. Or the blood flow in your brain stops.


Within a minutes the brain cells began to die. When a brain cells die during the stroke abilities controlled by that part of the brain such as memory and muscles control lose.


■ Every year about 800,000 peoples experiences a new stroke .

■ Stroke is the 5 biggest cause of death in US.

■ After every 4 minutes someone die due to stroke .

■ Stroke is one of the leading cause of adult disability in US.


Types of stroke:


There are two kinds of stroke.





1: Ischemic stroke:


It is the most common type of  stroke. It is caused by a blood clot that block or plug a blood vessel in the brain.


2: Hemorrhagic stroke:



The other kink of stroke known as Hemorrhagic stroke is caused by  a blood vessel  that  breaks and bleed into the brain. 

"Mini stroke " and transient ischemic attacks  (TIA) occur when the blood supply to brain is briefly  interrupted.


What is TIA?

When blood flow  to the parts of the brain stop for a short time called transient ischemic attacks .
These appears and last less then 24 hours before disappearing.


Symptoms:


● Sudden weakness of face , legs and arms
(especially on one side of the body).

● Sudden confusion, trouble speaking  or understanding speech.

● Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes.

● Sudden trouble walking , dizziness , loss of balance or coordination.

● Sudden server headache with no known cause.

If you have any of these symptoms you must get to the hospital quickly to began treatment.




Possible treatments:



○ Acute stroke therapies try to stop a stoke while it is happening by quick dissolving the blood clot or by stopping the bleeding. 



○ Post stroke rehabilitation helps individuals overcome disabilities that result from stroke damage .



○ Drug therapies with blood thinners is the most common treatment for the stroke.
