Thoart cancer:



Throat cancer  growth refers  to disease of the voice box, the vocal lines, and different parts of the throat, for example, the tonsils and oropharynx. Facing difficulty in swallowing is one of the common sign of thoart cancer. But most of us ignore this condition. As thoart cancer leads to formation of mass in the thrat  region. In some cases it can hinder or suppress the nerve in the ear which leads to ear pain.  In this type of conditions you have to consult with your doctor.

3: Sore throat:



It is very common to experience sore throat  during winters and seasonal changes. But sore throat that doesn't improves with time and meditation is a sign to worry. It may be a early sign of thoart cancer.


4: Ulcers:



If you are experiences mouth ulcers frequently or it doesn't improve or stay for more then 20 days  you need to consult with your doctor. It may be a symptom thoart cancer.

5: Voice changing:



Changing voice such as hoarseness or not speaking clearly  may be a sign of developing thoart cancer. Do not ignore your condition even a slight change in your voice pattern.

6: Unexplained weight loss:




Unexplained loss in your weight day by day without any serious reason may be a cause of thoart cancer. In this condition you have to go for your doctor.


☆ Causes of thoart cancer:


Throat cancer occur when cells in your thoart develop genetic mutations. These mutations causes cells to grow uncontrollably and continue living after healthy cells would normally die. The accumulating cells can form a tumour  in the thoart.

● Alcohol and tobacco:






Alcohol and tobacco play a significant role. Alcohol and tobacco are likely synergistic in causing cancer of the head and neck. Smokeless tobacco is an etiologic agent for oral and pharyngeal cancers. Cigar smoking is an important risk factor of oral cancer as well. Other potential environmental  carcinogens includes occupational exposures such as nickel  refining, exposure to textile fibres and wood working. Use of marijuana , especially while younger, is linked to increase in squamous-cell carcinoma. Cigarette  smokers have a lifetime risk for head and neck cancer that is 5 to 25 folds increased over the general population.  The high prevalence of tobacco and alcohol use worldwide and the high association of these cancer with these substances make them ideal target for enhanced cancer prevention.

● Diet: 





Excessive consumption of processed meats and red meat were associated with increased rate of cancer of the head and neck. While consumption of raw and cooked vegetables  seemed to be protective.

●  Betel nut:





Betel nut chewing is associated with an increase risk of squamous cell cancer of head and neck.


● other possible causes:


Their are wide variety of factors which can put someone at a heightened risk of thoart cancer. Suck factor includes smoking, chewing tobacco or other things like gutkha, pan heavy alcohol consumption, poor diet resulting in vitamin deficiencies, weakened immune system,asbestos exposure , prolonged exposure to wood dust or paint fumes, exposure to petroleum industry chemicals and being over the age of 55 years.  Another risk factor includes the appearance of white patches and sports in the mouth know as leukoplakia .
Other heightened risks: breathing or inhaling silica from cutting concrete stone or cinder- block especially in closed area such as warehouse, garage or basement.
